Hospitality & F&B

The Studio’s hospitality experience spans restaurants, cafés, and quick service concepts across Lebanon, the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq, including projects such as: Goût 9, Al Beiruti, Al Beiruti Café, Logma, Capitale Café, and many more. From new destinations to the transformation of existing venues, we develop spaces that express each brand’s identity while supporting the practical demands of daily F&B operations.

Our involvement extends from concept development and spatial planning to materials, lighting, furniture, detailing, and coordination with different stakeholders through execution. Each project balances atmosphere, guest ergonomy, and operational efficiency, with attention to Front of House, Back of House, circulation, and outdoor terraces. The aim is always to create welcoming, distinctive environments where design enriches the dining experience and supports the people who bring each venue to life.

Logma Café, Dubai Mall

Food & Beverage

The transformation of Logma at Dubai Mall introduces a renewed architectural identity, translating Emirati and Khaleeji heritage into a contemporary hospitality setting. Conceived and developed by Jamil Ghanem in his capacity as Head of Interior Design collaborating with Crown Concepts Group, the project reflects his creative approch and architectural vision, encompassing spatial planning, conceptual development, material selection, architectural detailing, and overall design direction.

The project encompasses 232 sqm of indoor space, divided between front-of-house and back-of-house, with seating for 76 guests, complemented by a 58 sqm outdoor terrace accommodating 34 guests.

The design establishes a distinctive architectural rhythm through sweeping curved forms, framed wall panels, and slender metallic detailing. The open shopfront creates a welcoming connection with the mall, while sculptural screens featuring elongated arches and textured glass articulate the interior without interrupting its visual continuity.

A palette of deep green tiles, warm metallic accents, timber, and soft neutral finishes brings depth and balance to the space. Upholstered banquettes and patterned seating introduce comfort and texture, while the curved service counter becomes a focal point, integrating decorative surfaces with practical hospitality functions.

Lighting plays a defining role in the transformation. Illuminated ceiling features, spherical pendants, and integrated accent lighting emphasise architectural contours and establish a warm, layered atmosphere.

The result is a refined yet relaxed dining environment, where spatial planning, material expression, and crafted details give Logma a renewed presence while maintaining its connection to Arabian hospitality.

The project was developed within the professional framework collaboration with Investium Group, whose role in its commissioning and delivery is duly acknowledged.

Goût 9 Bistrot, Beirut

Food & Beverage

Located in the heart of Beirut, near the French Embassy, Goût 9 is a concept conceived in 2011 as a neighborhood bistro offering French-inspired cuisine in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Its design brings together the character of a Parisian bistro and the convivial spirit of the Lebanese capital.

Spanning 143 sqm, including the front-of-house dining areas, back-of-house facilities and toilets, the bistro balances an efficient layout with a cozy atmosphere. The interior is organized into two open dining areas on either side of the main entrance. A prominent bar counter, positioned directly opposite the entrance, forms the focal point of the space, while a service hatch connects it to the BOH.

Conceived as a gathering place for students from neighbouring universities, French expatriates and local residents, the bistro accommodates different ways of dining and socialising. Compact tables and shared bench seating maximise capacity while maintaining comfort and ease of movement. Large communal tables at the centre of each dining area encourage conversation and reinforce the informal, sociable character of the space.

The Parisian-inspired façade expresses the identity of Goût 9, establishing a welcoming street presence within a Beirut neighbourhood where French culture forms part of everyday life.

Al beiruti restaurant, Amman

Food & Beverage

Located at the intersection of Jafra Street and Ayla Street within Abdali Boulevard, Amman, Al Beiruti Restaurant flagship grand transforms a contemporary commercial setting into a distinctive dining destination. The design builds upon the existing beige stone and expansive glazed façade, creating a stronger relationship between the restaurant, the street, and the surrounding public realm.

A key intervention is the introduction of a 155 sqm enclosed glass room at the main entrance, accommodating approximately 104 guests. Conceived as a flexible semi-outdoor dining environment, the extension enhances street presence while allowing controlled interaction with the exterior through operable glazing and climate-control strategies.

Internally, the existing mezzanine is removed to resolve inconsistent floor heights and establish a continuous ground floor across the three units. A structural steel extension above Units 2 and 3 enables the floor to be unified at +34 cm, creating approximately 510 sqm of indoor space with seating for 134 guests. Seating arrangements combine central entrance benches with flexible four-person tables, reflecting the character of established Al Beiruti outlets.

The operational core is organized around a prominent show kitchen and juice bar, supported by comprehensive BOH facilities for preparation, pastry, dough, shisha, dishwashing, storage, and service. The lower-ground floor accommodates receiving, cold and dry storage, waste management, and dedicated food-preparation areas.

The project was developed within the professional framework collaboration with Investium Group and Marasi, whose role in its commissioning and delivery is duly acknowledged.

lE SORBET, ICE CREAM BOUTIQUe - THOE DUBAI

Food & Beverage

Le Sorbet is a conceptual gourmet ice cream boutique inspired by French elegance, culinary craftsmanship, and contemporary retail design. Envisioned for prestigious destinations such as The Heart of Europe at The World Islands in Dubai, the project introduces an authentic French ice cream experience that combines refined architecture, premium products, and a distinctive brand identity.

The concept reinterprets the traditional French ice cream parlour through a sophisticated yet playful architectural language. Vibrant colours, elegant finishes, and carefully considered details create an inviting atmosphere that celebrates the richness and diversity of ice cream flavours.

The French-inspired façade features vivid blue timber cladding, generous glazed openings, decorative cornices, and distinctive signage. Pastel indigo accents reinforce the brand's visual identity, while the composition establishes a strong architectural presence that encourages visitors to explore the boutique.

At the heart of the interior, a centrally positioned ice cream display counter becomes the focal point of the customer experience. Strategically located opposite the main entrance and adjacent to the point-of-sale station, it ensures intuitive circulation, efficient service, and clear visibility of the products.

The spatial layout follows a human-centred design approach, providing comfortable circulation for customers and employees while accommodating dedicated kitchen, storage, technical, and staff facilities. A continuous, softly curved suspended ceiling visually connects the various architectural elements, reinforcing the interior's cohesive identity.

Through its distinctive colour palette, thoughtful spatial planning, and refined detailing, Le Sorbet transforms the simple pleasure of enjoying ice cream into a memorable sensory and architectural experience, bringing a contemporary interpretation of French charm to Dubai.
